Sometimes we don’t feel like being kind. Sometimes we just don’t care about being kind. Maybe it’s because the person we are interacting with isn’t being kind. Maybe it’s because we are in a bad mood. Always being kind is a standard, a high standard. It doesn’t matter how someone else is acting or the poor mood we happen to be in. It is all about the standard we maintain. High standards point to high quality characters. Always choose the high road with high standards because your standards and your attitude make a real difference. The lesson for all of us–always be kind.
